John and I were saddened to hear of Eds passing. As new friends we looked forward to his visits to the Princess when he and the family came to visit Lorna. Eds sense of humor and his love of a good go round about politics kept us all on our best game. Gods speed on your journey Ed.

Dear Sandra and family
I am so saddened to hear the news of Uncle Ed and my thoughts and prayers go out to each of you. I wished I could be there today for the memorial service and to be with each of you, but I want you to know that I was in spirit.
I have very fond memories of chats with Ed on my visits to Hensall, and how he often had me rolling in laughter with his wonderful sense of humour. As I’ve told you many times, I was always struck by how closely he resembled “Billie” (my dad), and it felt like such a gift for me to be around him.
I’ve spoken to mom (Mabel) this weekend, and she will be in contact soon. She sends her condolences to each of you.

I am very happy to have had the opportunity to meet Ed. He always had a smile on his face, and I just loved that twinkle in his eyes when he told a joke. Our family gatherings will not be quite the same without him.

Dear Sandra and Lorna and families,
My deepest sympathy for the loss of great Uncle Ed. He will be missed by all.
I have very fond memories of many words of wisdom and nights of education from Uncle Ed; he always managed to offer a new, and most of the time whimsical perspective on the topic at hand. He was always a pleasure to be around…my thoughts are with your families.

Sandra, James and Chan, I am so sorry for your loss. The world is a less happier and humourous place with the passing of Uncle Eddy. He will be greatly missed. Our family had so many fun times with Uncle Ed and his outlook on life and tremendous sense of humour will live on in our memories.
Uncle Ed was the funniest man I have ever met and when I was with him I felt as though I had a small piece of my father still with me. Monday will be a celebration of his life as he passed on much joy to all those who knew him. You are all in our thoughts.

Eddie will be missed by all of us who had the privilege of knowing him. He had such a wonderful sense of humor and it was always so nice to have a chat with him while walking the animals after work. It won’t be the same at 72924 Airport Line without him. Rest in Peace Uncle Eddie.

We would like to send our best wishes and a big hug to Sandra and Lorna at this sad time. As a very old friend of Ed’s niece, Cass, I have known Eddy for many years, and remember with great affection his humour, love of life and his interest in the world in general. Fortunately, memories can last forever. We hope the ceremony on Monday will be a fine celebration of Ed’s life, and we are sorry we cannot be there in person to join in.

Sandra, James,Chan+Christina:
I’m sure I don’t have to tell you how much Ed (your Dad) meant to me. Like I always use to say, “Ed, if we could bottle your personality, we’d be billionaires”. He was the smartest man I ever knew and one of my favorite people.
My deepest condolences,
Anna McKinnon
