To the Morgan family: One of the most difficult things that a person who is in the ministry is to retire and cease ministry to those who have been their parishioners and whose lives touched them so very greatly. It is expected that one will fade into the past and let the new minister attend to the flock. In Marylou’s case, that was most difficult for me. Earl and Marylou were very very dear to me. It was so hard to pass the house without going in and visiting like I had in the past. We had such grand times together and they were so important to both Pat and myself. Their kindnesses to us will never be forgotten.
I have been very ill for the last three weeks and my recovery seems to be dragging on forever. Because of that, I can not come to the funeral home and pass around the germs that I have, but please know you all have my most sincere sympathies. Please know that I cherished your mom and dad so very much, and I mourn there parting deeply. Blessings to you all and God bless you. May they both rest in peace and my light perpetual shine on them. I look forward to seeing them again. Bruce and Pat
