Dear Kenneth, Lenore and family;
Please accept our deepest condolences. Jack was a good guy. He lived a wonderful but simple life, as many of the farmers of his generation did. He enjoyed visiting with people, he enjoyed working the land and he enjoyed his Chinese food. Ray really got to know him quite well when they were building the new shed and he thought well of Jack. I remember Jack from my years of trudging up the road to piano lessons with your mom. He was often in the house, sitting in his chair while Kenneth and Lenore played around him. Ken was always taking something apart to see how it worked and Lenore was very quietly playing with dolls and blocks. I guess Jack was supposed to be looking after you two while your mom was busy with us. Or maybe he just wanted a rest and a time with his children. He always enjoyed coming to the church in Centralia for the turkey and beef suppers. It was a good time for food, fellowship and sharing of news. His setbacks over the last few years were not easy, but he lived with it and carried on the best he could. We will miss his smile, his greetings and his interest in what was happening in our family. We will keep your family in our prayers and thoughts. God Bless.
