I was saddened to hear of Irene’s passing. When I was young, I spent so much time at the Robb house, I think Irene thought I was one of hers. She certainly treated me as one of hers, I think I even had chores. :) She made everyone feel welcome with her easy going attitude and big smile.
My thoughts and prayers go out to Jack, Cathy, Alan, Janice, David, and your families.

Irene made us feel like we were part of the family when in her presence. She always had a big smile on her face and was ready for some fun!
Last time we saw her we had a brief visit in the Remark parking lot.(last summer?)
Sorry to hear that she is no longer with us.
Our deepest sympathy.

Jack and all the family,
As I look at the pictures posted, Irene has had a life well-lived and it is obvious the love she had for all of you was returned abundantly.
I have wonderful memories of my kids (Andy, Kathryn) being invited down to share the lovely pool and warm friendship you and Irene offered us.
I know this is such a huge loss for your family and my thoughts and prayers are with you.

Please know that we are thinking of all of you at this very sad time. Irene certainly enjoyed her “Scottish Festival” up here in Kincardine, and we were very fortunate to have met her, and to spend some time in the backyard over the summers. The pictures are beautiful. Jack, so sorry for your loss.

Wonderful slideshow! What can we say, the Robb house at 522 Palmtree was a second home to us at a fantastic time in our lives .. always a swim, a smile, a warm welcome with lots of laughs, food and drink. Good times with a great family, we love you all and wish peace in your hearts at this time of loss.

I grew up with the Robb family….as kids we were forever over at the house horsing around, and Mrs. Robb was always there taking care of us. She always welcomed us into her home, and she was a big part of my and a bunch of my buddies youth.
I live out of town now, but I’ll always remember coming back to London with my family in the summer, and Mrs. Robb was always the first to invite my kids over at any time, whether she or Mr. Robb were home, to go for a swim…..she was generous and loving always to me and my family.
A loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, I send my condolences out to family, and grieve with them, as I know they’ve lost a big part of their family, but I too, have lost a big part of my cherished memoires of growing up……she will be truly missed.
Sorry we couldn’t be there to lend support to the family, but our thoughts and prayers are with you, and we’ll find peace in knowing she’s in a better place, watching over and down upon all of us.

Jack & Family,
My deepest sympathies in your loss. You will miss her as will we all.
When Irene and I started working together we had a special bond and until we were talking one day did not know what it was. Kindred spirtis perhaps?
The only time my Mother ever had a job outside of the home it was working at the Post Office in Denfield. Her boss at the time was Jessie Hamilton who just happened to be Irene’s Mom.
I guess Irene and I came full cirlcle!!
I will miss her!
Love Linda
