At LHSC-University Hospital, London on Thursday, August 9, 2012, of Ilderton in her 88th year. Beloved daughter of the late Edward Charlton and Nettie Carmichael. Dear sister-in-law of Rosetta Charlton of London. Dear aunt of Edward Charlton, Ken Post, Mark Syrie and Sharon Clarke. Predeceased by her brother Milton Charlton (2000).
Friends may call at the Haskett Funeral Home, 223 Main Street, Lucan on Friday 2-4 and 7-9 PM where the funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 11th at 11 AM with Rev. Edward Charlton and Pastor Ken Post officiating.
There will be a Rebekah Service in the funeral home on Friday evening at 6:45 PM under the auspices of Strathroy Lady Howard #321.
Interment Medway Cemetery, Middlesex Centre.
Donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.

first off i would like to thank everyone for their kind words in memory of my aunt!!
She was a wonderful woman of few words, and many smiles, and flowers and vegetables.
I so remember her working int he garden, growing her glads, ( my house was always full of them). and her kind words although few but always meaningful.
I will miss you so much Aunt Minnie, I should have been there more often, but I know you know how much I cared.
God Bless, and I hope you are having a great ol time with all your friends and family upstairs.

She was always polite to all residents and staff.

It is always sad to lose an old and dear friend and neighbour but I have many happy memories from 4H and church and growing up with Minnie and her family in Ilderton I looked forward to her newsy Christmas letters keeping me abreast of the Ilderton news.She was so kind to my mother Sarah Needham and also my Grandmother Needham with her visits and cardsHer good deeds are well known and now may she rest in peace in her Heavenly Home.

I am very sory to hear about the Passing of Minnie. Minnie was a wonderful caring person. I have many fond memories of Minnie brining us vetables from her garden and on Christmas day at Dorothy’s McKeen’s and Kathie Perkin’s home for Christmas dinner.
