She always made us feel special and welcome. She was so proud of her Children and Grandchildren. So in the days ahead may you take comfort in knowing how much your Mom & Grandma loved all of you. It was such a pleasure to have spent an evening with Aunt Nellie in August of this year. We reminisced and compared stories of our two generations growing up in Whitbourne. She was blessed and a blessing, and she will be missed very much. Our lives are richer because she was part of it. Aunt Nellie passed away on her mother’s birthday, it gives me comfort to know that Nanny was there to lead her home.
To Chris & John and your families – We are so sorry for your loss, may you be surrounded in love during this difficult and sad time. God bless all of you and may she rest in peace.

May fond memories of your mother bring you comfort during this hard time in your life. Look back on all the good memories you were able to have and smile at the fact that you were able to share these before she passed away. Our hearts and prayers go out to you and your family.
I will miss the calls I shared with Aunt Elizabeth to talk about the Spence Family tree. She was very proud to be a Newfoundlander and to have such a wonderful Irish ancestry.
