It is with great sadness, the family of Robert (Bob) Edward Evans announce his passing on Tuesday, January 24th, 2017 at his late residence in Exeter in his 87th year. In earlier years, Bob enjoyed singing at Deerhurst Inn and many places in London and Toronto. He was also an accomplished artist. Bob was the father of Scott (of South Korea) and Kirk (deceased). Loving brother of Joan, Florence, Dorothy (deceased) and Elsie (deceased). Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and cousins. His pain and suffering are no more. May he rest in peace.
Cremation with private family arrangements.

Dear Bob
You were always on tune. It was a definite pleasure to have met you. Thanks for dropping in, wish I could remember all your jokes. Your suggestions and advise at a bleak time in my life helped so much. Your phone calls telling me exactly where you lived wanting me to come up for a meal, I am sorry I never did. Can never forget your name it is just like Bob Evans Restaurant. See you sometime at a top class bar and lounge. God Bless

I didn’t know Bob well but I would like to think I might have helped him in some small way. I delivered groceries to him for a couple of months and enjoyed his stories of past successes and friends and I’m sincerely sorry about the problems he was enduring before his passing. Take comfort in knowing that, when I was there, he always mentioned his family and how much everyone meant to him.

My darling brother Robert (Bob) Evans passed away on the 24th. of January and I shall miss him forever. We talked sometimes 3 times a day and he was in such pain and no-body seemed to be able to help him. I know that he is suffering no more and in the arms of Jesus whom he believed in and although I will miss him everyday, I know he has no more pain. I loved him before and I shall love him forever. I have his paintings and photo’s to remember him but nothing will take the place of my dear brother. RIP Bobby, I love you till we meet again. Your baby sister Joannie xo
