Peacefully, after a courageous battle with cancer, in Quesnel, B.C., on Tuesday, April 25, 2017 in his 63rd year. John was raised in London (Byron). Beloved husband of Merry. Step-father of Richard Lindstrom of Quesnel, and Kim Lindstrom of Chilliwack, B.C. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Barbara and Jim Prowse, Bob Cook and Mary Lou Sabatine, and Doug and Debbie Cook all of London, and David and Dawn Cook of Southampton. Remembered by several nieces and nephews and cousins. Predeceased by his parents Lloyd and Alice (Haskett) Cook and a sister-in-law Sharon Cook.
Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life was held on May 3, 2017 at the Clayton Funeral Home in Quesnel.
John’s Ontario family will celebrate his life in the summer at a private family gathering.
