Passed away peacefuIIy at Seaforth Manor Nursing Home on Wednesday, May 2, 2012. Catherine “AIice” StiIes (nee Mclver) of Seaforth, formerIy of BayfieId, at the age of 83.
BeIoved mother of Patricia StiIes of Stratford. Ioving sister of Josephine BecheIy of Kitchener. Dear aunt of Mary Jo Morris, Margaret Morris, Patrick Morris, MichaeI BecheIy (Tammy) and ellzabeth Ioebsack; great-aunt of Griffin, Cody, Meaghan, Keegan, Bethany and CaIeigh.
Predeceased by her son Peter StiIes (2002); parents Peter and Mary (nee Johnson) Mclver; sisters Mary Coffin, Jeanne Wright, Margaret Mclver, Theresa Morris, and two sisters in infancy.
Visitation wiII be heId at McGlynn FamiIy FuneraI Home, 87 Goderich St. W., Seaforth, 519-527-1390, on Friday, May 4th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. (Prayer VigiI at 2 p.m. Friday). Prayers wiII be offered in the funeraI home on Saturday, May 5, 2012 at 9:30 a.m. foIIowed by procession to St. James Roman CathoIic Church, 14 Victoria Street, Seaforth, for AIices FuneraI Mass at 10 a.m. Interment wiII take pIace at St. James Roman CathoIic Cemetery, Seaforth foIIowed by a Iuncheon at the Seaforth Iegion.

I just want you to know Alice was thought of fondly by me. She always had a smile and made me feel that it was a better day upon meeting her. The world and Seaforth was a better place because she lived.
