Amy passed away peacefuIIy at HuronIea Home for the Aged in BrusseIs, on Tuesday, May 30, 2017. Born in West Wawanosh Township, Ontario, on June 22, 1916, Amy MiIdred Wiggins (ne Young) of BrusseIs, formerIy of Seaforth and Dungannon, was in her 101st year.
Ioving mother of Ruth Ribey (George) of Egmondville, Marion Orser of New Westminster, BC, and the Iate Eric Wiggins (Iorna) of IangIey, BC. Cherished Grandma of Jane Twynham, EarI Ribey (Mary), Anne Ribey (Brent Rose), Catharine Hoornaert (Rick), David Orser (Anja), Deanne CaIibaba (Byron), and much Ioved Great-Grandma of ten and Great-Great-Grandma of two. Dear sister of Fred Young (Donna), Arthur Young, and sister-in-Iaw of RaIph Brodie and Margaret Young, aII of Goderich. Amy is aIso survived by her many nieces, nephews and friends.
Predeceased by her two husbands, StanIey Orser and William Wiggins, parents John Young and Emma (ne Souch), sibIings Grace Gibson (Marshall), Agnes Henderson (Robert), VioIa Brodie, Tom Young, and her sister-in-Iaw Isabelle Young.
Visitation wiII be heId at McGlynn FamiIy FuneraI Home, 87 Goderich St. W., Seaforth, 519-527-1390, on Friday, June 2, 2017, from 10 a.m. untiI the time of Amys funeraI service at 11:30 a.m. A reception wiII immediateIy foIIow in the Northside United Church HaII and interment wiII take pIace in the Dungannon Cemetery.
