Dear Viola, Shirley, James and John and families;
Please accept our deepest sympathy. We were away last week and just found out about Robert on this past Sunday evening. What a terrible shock to us. We can not even imagine what you must be going through. I have many memories of Robert and of your family over the years – growing up and attending S.S. # 9, playing prisoner’s base, baseball, fox and goose and auntie over the shanty at recess and noon, riding home on snowy, stormy days in the sleigh that the Weibergs created, riding home 2 people deep in the car so that we could get twelve or more in one vehicle on wet and snowy days, evenings spent at your home or our home with our parents playing cards, attending school functions like card parties and concerts at the same time, seeing each other as we drove past your place or vice versa. I know you have even more memories of your son, brother and uncle and I hope those memories will help to ease your grief over the next days, weeks and months to come. May the peace of God, which passes all understanding, be with you now and in the days to come.
Most Sincerely,
Ray and Judy Mills

I am the grandson of Shirley Kemps, and unfortunately was not able to make it this day because of the terrible storms as I am in Orangeville. However, I did make it up to see everyone as soon as I heard the news the weekend prior. I had many good visits and times with Robert, and am very sorry for the sudden loss.

We are so sorry to here of your loss. We have many fond memories of our time spent as your neighbours. Bob was a great help when we needed it. He was always there with his tractor to pull us out of the ditch, or blow our snow.
