Suddenly, but peacefully, with family by her side, at Queensway Nursing Home, Hensall on Saturday, July 18th, 2020 Mavis Elaine (McBride) Atthill in her 84th year, left her earthly existence for peace and clarity to join the love of her life, Charlie Atthill (2007). Dear mother of Steve & Eda of Thamesford, Dave and Dolly of Exeter and Brent and Deb of Zug, Switzerland. Adored grandma of Eric (Stephanie), Shawn (Georgia), Marisa (Tyler), Tess (Braden) and Brenna; and great-grandma to Cooper, Oliver and Harvey. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Marj and Wayne Tuckey, Glenn Pridham, Mary Douglas and Doug and Judy McBride. Predeceased by her parents Margaret (2005) and Walter (1990), her sister Ruth Ann Pridham (2005) and her brother-in-law Bob Douglas (2009). She will be missed by the Atthill family especially her nephews Ed (Marie) and Bill (Marylou) Atthill and her many friends and members of the Rebekah’s and Exeter United Church.
A private family graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 23rd at 11 AM with Bob Heywood officiating. Though the service is private, the family invites you to join with them from the comfort of your home. Stream the service live by visiting www.facebook.com/haskettfh. Haskett Funeral Home, EXETER entrusted with arrangements.
Donations to the Alzheimer’s Society (https://alzheimer.ca/) or Queensway Nursing Home would be appreciated by the family.
