Passed away peacefully at Huron Hospice, Clinton on Sunday, September 29, 2024 at the age of 76. Loving husband of Elena Baker. Proud dad of Corey Baker and Tracy Perry, Carrie Lynn Baker and Muhammad Amjad, and Evan Fischer. Adored stepfather of Elton Sebag, Odessa Sebag, Leomar Sebag and Joy Sebag. Proud grandfather of Nathan Baker, Hana Amjad, Nadia Amjad, Zahra Amjad, Farah Amjad, and Muhammad Faisal and step-grandfather of Helena Penelope, Anton Philip, Nica Sebag, Dwayne Sebag, and RJ Sebag. John is survived by his mother Gwen McKeller, sisters Bonnie Cronin (Danny), Marilyn Baker Mariott, Jane Baker (Sebastian Scala), and brothers Gary Baker, Paul Ted Baker (Nadine), James “Jim” Baker (Cindy). Predeceased by his father Alex Baker, brothers Murray Crerar and Ross Baker.
Visitation will be held at Kingsfield Mennonite Church, 37818 Zurich Hensall Road, ZURICH on Saturday, October 5th from 9:30 – 10:30 AM where a memorial service will follow at 11AM. Interment Woodland Cemetery, Mitchell.
Donations to Huron Hospice would be greatly appreciated by the family.
