Peacefully at LHSC – Victoria Hospital on Wednesday, July 4, 2018 of RR 4 Denfield in her 69th year. Beloved wife of Lyle Beatson for 43 wonderful years. Cherished mother of Jason and Janet Beatson of RR 1 Lucan, and Sheila and Brad Hodgins of RR 3 Parkhill. Adored grandmother of Janessa, Jillian, Jaclyn; Trent and Hailey. Dear sister-in-law of Ralph and Sandra Pitt, Don and Deanna Beatson, and Sharon Hodgins. Sadly missed by her nieces, nephews, cousins, especially Susan Malone and Nancy Adams. Predeceased by her parents Art and Doris Ashworth, and brother-in-law Lloyd Hodgins.
Carol lived most of her life on the farm on Thirteen Mile Road. She worked at Labadie Blinds for 23 years. Carol was a very active member of the Ilderton Agricultural Society, Holy Trinity Anglican Church, and Grace Anglican Church. Carol will be fondly remembered for her love of her flowers, Sunday drives, walks on Thirteen Mile, but most of all – her unconditional love for her family and her five grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Haskett Funeral Home, 223 Main Street, Lucan on Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held at Holy Trinity Anglican Church, 189 Main Street, Lucan on Monday, July 9, 2018 at 11 AM with The Rev. Matt Martin officiating. Interment Medway Cemetery, Middlesex Centre.
Donations to Holy Trinity Anglican Church or Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
