I remember being in high school and visiting Jackie and Gerrie on weekends. She was always warm and welcoming. Saturday night wrestling was something I had never watched and it was fun to sit with everyone. And, of course, the pies we delicious. My condolences.

A moment to reflect on the life of Eva Beckett as we knew her. She was our great aunt. She really was a GREAT aunt. We remember being very young and visiting her and Uncle Lawrence in their cute little house When we were there visiting, inevitably there would be a freshly baked pie. Aunt Eva would keep us up to date on her girls, Geraldine and Jacqueline. She was also very proud of her grandchildren and would mention them by name. She would come out to ALL of the celebrations. House and baby christenings, wedding receptions and other events. She was quietly the life of the party. She enjoyed a beer, a screwdriver and a game of euchre. She would dance with the young folks. You could say if there was something to celebrate, Aunt Eva would be there. Now in her death we celebrate the life she had on earth and also the life she will have in heaven. Celebrating her arrival will be the ones who have gone before her, welcoming her with open arms.
