Just wanted to pass on our thoughts and prayers. Your mom held a very soft spot in our hearts–from teaching Ray ….to coming out to the hockey games…and just chatting at the schoool. She especially made a great mark on our son Derek’s life….he was the cookie man.. She took the time and was a great teacher and friend. She is in a better place now with your dad and Karmen as well..Karen and Ray

My heart goes out to all of you. Your mom was my teacher in grade 3 and while I am sure she did a great job teaching the curriculum, the lessons I remember most are: how to find utter joy in reading, how to respect authority but to speak up for justice, how to be reverent and to love our Lord, and how to offer what you can to help the less fortunate. She was a wonderful teacher and a terrific lady.

Dear Kris, Kerry and Kim;
May you find comfort in knowing that your Mom has now been reunited with your dad, and with Karman. I have great memories of fun times at their place “back in the day”. Your mom and dad were not only very kind and welcoming to everyone, but they also knew the value of friendship. Your friends became theirs. Cherish the memories. Be strong.

Her teaching practice helped form my own style of teaching that I have brought to the classroom over the last 22 years. My heartfelt sympathies are extended to the entire Bedard family.
