Passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, April 1, 2021 formerly of RR 4 Denfield, at the age of 89. Beloved husband of the late Bernice (Austin) Bellamy (2009). Cherished father of Lee and Diane Bellamy of RR 4 Denfield. Proud grandpa of Brent and Kelly, Erica and Corey, and Lindsay. Great-grandpa of Nixon, Neely; Mya, Wyatt, and Britain. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Charles and Nancy Bellamy of Strathroy, and Patricia Swatuk of Strathroy. Predeceased by his parents Mark and Irene (Schwartz) Bellamy, and his siblings Elmer, Violet, Francis, Thomas, and Roy.
Ken loved to run heavy equipment, but graduated into management as a supervisor with the City of London. He enjoyed being outside cutting grass or working on his hobby farm. He could be found at his trailer in Port Glasgow being the park’s storyteller and sharing in a laugh.
Keeping with Ken’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A private family interment will be held at Medway Cemetery, at a later date.
Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.

To Lee, Diane, and family. We were so sorry to hear about Uncle Bert’s passing. Really loved that guy. His tales were many that we all loved to hear. And I used to get in a lot of trouble, as a kid, for repeating his limericks. He and my dad had some adventures that ended up with my mom (Francis) and Aunt Bernice scolding both of them. But that didn’t stop them from carrying on!! He has left us with so many great memories. Will miss him greatly. Love Roger and Barb King

I was always so excited to see Ken and Bernice coming into the laneway when l was a young girl living on the farm. I knew that my Aunt Jenny was in the car with them. Now they are all in heaven making everyone laugh and having fun. Aunt Jenny was my dad’s (Walter) sister and they all loved coming home to the farm. They came to all the reunions we had and Ken would also be the king of jokes for us. Ken was the speaker for our son Jeff’s wedding he loved doing it.WELL now Ken rest in peace and you will always be remembered in my heart. MARY & DENNIS ROURKE (Hastie)
