Peacefully at South Huron Hospital, Exeter, with family by her side, on Thursday, February 6, 2020, of Exeter at the age of 82. Beloved wife of the late Silvere Bilcke (2016). Cherished mother of the late Rick Bilcke (2004), Ron and Mary Lou Bilcke of Exeter, Rob Bilcke and Donna Jean Dietrich of Hensall, and Rita Bilcke of London. Proud grandma of Bob, Thora, and Rick; Corey, Tim and Jenna, and Ty and Teighan; Jordyn and Josh, Danielle and Jeremy, and Taylor; Zoë and Maya. Adored Meme of Chase, Brianna, Blair, Claire, Jillian, Kason, Bentley, and Jonathan. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Marcel and Berthe Baert, Erna Vanneste all of Belgium, Andre and Mariette Bilcke, and Marcel Vanneste all of Hensall, Monique and Willie Van Coillie of Woodstock, Andre and Marie Van Houcke of Glanworth. Survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her loving daughter-in-law Cheryl Bilcke (2017), and sister Gabrielle Baert.
Denise was so proud of her family; she always enjoyed visits with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at the Haskett Funeral Home, 370 William Street, EXETER on Sunday, February 9th from 12-2 PM, where the memorial service will be held at 2:30 PM with Pastor Doug Watson officiating. Cremation has taken place.
Donations to South Huron Hospital Foundation or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
