Marion will be sadly missed by her loving partner John Menzies. Devoted and loving mother of Mark, Craig and Jon, and their spouses, Janice (Babineau), Kathryn (Humphreys), and Lynda (Ollson). Dear auntie M to Alex & Julia. Survived by the father of her children, Bill Billington. She will be remembered fondly by devoted friends, former colleagues, and students. Dear Jon, Lynda & family we were sorry to read in this mornings paper about the passing of your Mom. It’s a sad thing to lose a parent & compound that with a world wide pandemic that impedes the way we get to say good bye & for others to pay their respect must make it especially hard. Our thoughts are with you as your family mourns a big loss. Dave & Cathy Disher

I taught with Marion for several years at Churchill School. Hers was the first face that I saw every morning while entering the school through the “Kindergarten” door. She was always cheerful and exuberant about teaching those little ones. I am sorry to hear that she has passed away. Please accept my sympathies. Nancy Turner

Mrs. Billington was my kindergarten teacher some 26 or so years ago. She was always so kind, always so caring. My condolences to the family. I can only imagine how wonderful it must have been to have such an uplifting and positive person in your life. I’m sure she will be greatly missed and I am truly sorry for your loss.

It is with deep sadness that I’ve heard today of Marion’s passing. She and my sister Ruth spent many growing up years in each other’s company in Zurich.. We were actually second cousins on the Haberer side. My deep condolences to Marion’s family and to her brother Richard and Carol. May you be comforted with special memories. Marilyn Heimrich of Zurich and family.
