At Exeter Villa, on Saturday, November 11, 2006, David Andrew Bowie, formerly of Hensall, in his 79th year. Sadly missed by his children Daniel and Gloria Bowie of Manitoba, , Lynne and John Dixon of Clinton, Heather and Bill Forrest of Kippen, Jim and Marilyn Bowie, Julia Mepham and their mother Margot (Baby) Bowie all of Guelph. Dear grandfather of 14 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by his parents Donald and Minnie Bowie, 2 brothers George and his wife Sheila and John and his wife Mary, one son Eric and one granddaughter Becky.
There will be no visitation. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion R. E. Pooley Branch 167, 316 William St., Exeter, on Thursday, November 16, 2006 at 11 a.m.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of ones choice.
