Suddenly and unexpectedly at South Huron Hospital on Sunday, September 30, 2018 of Exeter in his 91st year. Beloved husband of the late Pauline (Robinson) Brintnell (1989). Loving father of Dan and Donna Brintnell of Exeter, Mike and Patty Brintnell of Exeter, and Bill Brintnell and Chetna Bhatt of London. Cherished grandfather of Tomas Brintnell; Travis Brintnell, Connor Brintnell, and Abbey and Bart Rynen and great-grandfather of Zoey. Dear brother-in-law of Ross and Marilyn Robinson of St. Marys, Wanda Robinson of Goderich, and June Hodgson of Exeter. Predeceased by his parents Alvin and Irene Brintnell, and his siblings James, Madeline, Almira, Jack, Anita, Douglas, Frank and Etta.
Har owned and operated Har’s Body Shop, was involved in the standardbred horse industry, and was a proud volunteer fireman with the Exeter Fire Department for over 20 years. The family would like to thank the staff at the Exeter Villa for their care and compassion over the past 4 1/2 years.
Visitation will be held at the Haskett Funeral Home, 370 William St, Exeter on Tuesday, October 2nd from 11AM- 12PM. The funeral service will be held at 12:30 PM. The interment at Kirkton Union Cemetery will take place after the luncheon. Donations to Jessica’s House – South Huron Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
