Cherished father of Carey Brooks and Tamsyn Green of London and grandfather of Keegan and Nolan Brooks. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Douglas Brooks, Marg and Wayne Robichaud, and Jan Brooks. Fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his son Shawn Brooks (1986).
A private family funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 22 at 11 AM. Interment Zion Cemetery, South Huron. This is such sad news, my condolences to the entire family. I have some great memories with Don and his family. Don was brilliant, he could take an idea and make it work, no matter what it was!! He taught me automotive in high school when he was supply teaching, I hung out with his son Shawn, he hired me as an apprentice at Motion, we worked together promoting the track at times, he was a huge supporter of my racing, and most of all he would listen intently if I asked him for help or an opinion.
