Passed away peacefully at his home, surrounded by his family and his four-legged best friend, Luke on Friday, March 29, 2024 of London at the age of 76. Loving husband and best friend of Emily (Dykeman) Brown for over 41 years. Cherished father of Wes Jr., and Shannon and amazing step-father of Alyson, Aaron, and Shawna. Proud Papa of Max, Kyle, Jackson, Tyson, Jessica, Trenton, Paige, Brooke, Harley, Ben, Sadie, and AJ and 4 great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Anne Shepherd. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and the Dykeman family. Predeceased by his parents, Bill and Dorothy Brown, son Terry, brother Tom, and sister Debbie.
Wes was an avid fisherman and loved going up north to cast a line either alone, with his many friends or the Dykeman family. Music was a huge part of his life, being a part of the London music community for many years. He could always be found tinkering with a hot rod, bike or anything with a motor. He was a talented man. Wes always responded when others would call and ask for his help, or required a ride, regardless of the hour.
A celebration of Wes’ life will be held at Haskett Funeral Home, 456 Main Street South, EXETER on Friday April 5th from 5 – 8 PM.
