A dear sweet lady laid to rest……Isabelle was my favourite while at South Huron Hospital. Will always remember her stories she had for the nurses and our walks to the kitchen for that gumdrop cookie. She always had a song for me and even though she would change the words to spice it up a bit she made sure we had a laugh. And there was the egg salad sandwich that had to be cut a certain way then as i tucked you in at night you sang “Good night Irene”.
Rest in peace sweet lady,
Love Mabel (Jo-Ann) xoxo

"Little Bill"
Grandma:
There would never be enough time and space to truly relay my thoughts, appreciation, and admiration to either you or Grandpa for all you did for me or taught me over the years.
Of all thoughts that have been racing through my mind over the past days, your steady hand shooting and the sight of you unwrapping and carefully inspecting each new Grandchild, counting their fingers and toes in the process are examples of your personality and the scope of your numerous talents.
Of those talents, it would be amiss of me if I did not mention the myriad of wonderful dishes that you prepared on a regular basis that will never be topped by egg sauce pudding or chocolate cake with “Mom’s Mushy Icing”.
Having said that, generations of Trick-or-Treaters may argue that hand-made popcorn balls and fudge would win hands down.
I consider myself a very fortunate person to have had you in me and my family’s lives for as long as you have been.
The best I have to offer is an all encompassing “Thank You!” but those two words say it all.
Until we all meet again on the other side to renew our friendship, rest in peace with Grandpa.
Love: Bill
