I used to sit and chat with Lillian quite often at church in the foyer and sometimes at other church events and I enjoyed our conversations very much. She was a delight to be around and had great sense of humour. I am blessed to have known her and I look forward to reconnecting with her in heaven.
Our condolences.

Dear Diane, Jimmy, Danny and family.
My sincerest condolences on the passing of your mom, grandma and great-grandma.
I have some very fond memories of your mom and the family, starting when she hired me to work in the Toy Store she managed almost 50 years ago. She was a kind and gentle soul with a wonderful sense of humour. Although I moved to Hamilton after I graduated we managed to stay in touch for many years. Up until a few years ago, every December she remembered my birthday with a card and a bit of ‘London news’.
I hope that the many warm memories that you have of your mom carry you through this difficult time.

Lillian was one of those one of a kind type of people! When I was driving her to church, she would patiently wait for me to finish my Sunday morning things and then we would be on our way. We would laugh a lot too on our way to church and home again. She loved the people from church and would sit on the foyer pew and wait for the next friend to sit down and talk. Young and old. Her family and friends were so important to her. I always saw a faith in her and she was a faithful church goer too. She was easy to love and I always got that love back.
