Kenneth Gray Carnochan, passed away unexpectedly, on Thursday, November 21, 2019, at home on the farm. He departed this world, as every farmer hopes, with his boots on. Throughout a life time of farming, Ken sowed an abundance of seeds into the rich soil of his Tuckersmith farms. More importantly, in his 85 years among us, Ken sowed countless seeds of love, kindness and hard work ethic into the lives of his family and friends.
Ken will be lovingly remembered by his companion Betty Hulley, and his children, Darlene Carnochan – Williams and Terry Haycock, Pam Carnochan and Jamie Honderich, Faye and Dave Murray, and daughter-in-law Sharon Carnochan and Brian Wilson. Cherishing memories of a much loved grandpa are Erin Carnochan and Dave McKay, Kevin and Jessica Carnochan, Steve and Christie Carnochan, Brittany Williams and Adam Crockatt, Jacob and Bridget Williams, Shannen Murray, Jordann Murray, Sam Murray, Eli Honderich, Sadie Honderich, along with 12 great grandchildren. Ken will also be dearly missed by Betty’s children Ian and Debbie Hulley, Kevin Hulley, Wayne and Ruth Hulley, Darlene and Dave Pullen, Denise and Stewart Lockie and their families.
Left to reminisce days gone by are siblings-in-laws Anne Mulholland and Bob Robinson and a large circle of nieces, nephews and friends.
In faith, we trust Ken’s spirit is reunited in eternal life with his wife Doris (née Siemon) Carnochan ( 2003), son Bradley Carnochan (2013), grandson Matthew Carnochan (2012), nephew Bill Carnochan, siblings and siblings-in-law Ruth Carnochan, John Carnochan, Jim and Willis Carnochan, Grace and Jerry Davis and Rose Robinson, and his parents James and Elizabeth (née Wankel) Carnochan.
A casual come and go visitation will be held at the Carnochan Farms Shop, 76862 Division Line, RR#4 Seaforth, home of Jacob and Bridget Williams, on Sunday, November 24, 2019 from 1-5 p.m. A private family funeral service will take place with interment in Egmondville Cemetery. Funeral Arrangements entrusted to Haskett Funeral Home, Seaforth.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to Huron Residential Hospice or Seaforth Community Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.

We send our sincere sympathy and caring thoughts to Betty and Ken’s family. We cherish the many memories shared with Ken and Betty down south in Arizona for so many winters. Ken was loved by a large group of us living in our RV’s and coming together from many different areas in the U.S. and Canada. We’re grateful for our winters together and feel so very fortunate to have known Ken and his gift for keeping the conversation always going! We’ll miss you, Ken — Rest In Peace.

To the Carnochan family –
Just found out about Ken’s passing today. Regretfully, I missed the visitation at the shed today. Ken was a great guy, just like Brad. Whenever he saw me scouting Scott Cooper’s beans on his farm he’d walk over for a visit. We’d talk about the 80’s and the good ole days and about white beans of course. He was a trouper of that age. I miss those guys… hope I can go like him…
