Peacefully, at the Exeter Villa on Thursday, November 13, 2008 Charles (Chuck) Eli Snell of Exeter in his 92nd year. Beloved husband of the late Lois (Darling) Snell (1998). Dear father of Darlene and Bill Bourne of Strathroy. Dear grandfather of Lindsey and Brandon Barclay, Kendra and Ron Kustermans and great-grandfather of Haley and Lexi Barclay. Dear brother of Hazel Beaver of Exeter and Dean Mather of London. Predeceased by sisters Mabel Skinner, Grace Farquhar and Dorothy Patrick and brothers Harry and Russ Snell. Chuck served in the Italian Campaign during WW II (1942-1945) and was also a partner in South End Service in Exeter for many years. Friends may call at the Haskett Funeral Home, 370 William Street, 1 west of Main, Exeter on Saturday 2-4 and 7-9 PM where the complete funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 16th at 1:30 PM with Bob Heywood officiating. Interment Exeter Cemetery. Donations to the R. E. Pooley, Branch #167 Exeter Legion or the London Health Sciences Foundation-Trauma Centre would be appreciated by the family. There will be a Legion Service in the funeral home Saturday evening at 6:30 PM under the auspices of the R. E. Pooley, Branch #167 Exeter Legion.
