Suddenly at London Health Sciences Centre University Campus on Wednesday, December 4, 2002 Chris Van Bussel of Lucan in his 62nd year. Beloved husband of Cathy (Van Geel) Van Bussel. Dear father of Ann and John Straatman, Mary and Jon Lorch, Karen and Tony Favacho all of Lucan and Brian VanBussel and his fiancee Marie-Eve Blais of Thorndale. Dear Papa of Matthew and Joel; and Justine, Caroline, Olivia and Timothy. Dear son of the late Frank and Gerarda Van Bussel and son-in-law of Jack and Quirina Van Geel of Lucan. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Gerry and Wilma Van Bussel, Tina and Harry Van Boxmeer, Catherine and Gerry Hilhorst, Jack and Bernie Van Bussel, Mary and John Tenkate, Joanne and Tony Smulders, Jim and Cathy Van Bussel, Elizabeth and Jeff Roestenberg, Helmi and John Kaufmann, Helen and Brian McHenry and Sharon and Joe Czikk. Chris will also be sadly missed by the Van Geel families as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and his staff at Seelster Farms. Friends may call at the C. Haskett and Son Funeral Home, 223 Main Street, Lucan (1-877-227-4211) on Friday 2-4 and 7-9PM The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Patrick’s Church, Lucan on Saturday, December 7th at 10:30 AM with Father Thom Blondin presiding. Interment St. Patrick’s Cemetery. Donations to the Transplant Unit at London Health Sciences Centre University Campus or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family. Prayers will be said in the funeral home Friday afternoon at 4PM.
