Suddenly, at home, on Sunday, October 15, 2006 Clifford A. J. Cook of Granton in his 74th year, after a four year courageous battle with cancer. Beloved husband of Ruth (Hardie) Cook. Dear son-in-law of Madeline Hardie of Lucan. Loving father and father-in-law of Dave and Marg, Doug and Kim, John and Cheryl and Steve and Amy. Very proud poppa of Brad, Jenna and Steven; Jesse and Kathryn; and Maddie and Grace. Loving brother and brother-in-law of Reta Hughes, Max Bilyea, Fred and Jean Cook, Lillus Riddell and Fred Lewis and Pat and Joan Hardie. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents Bill and Irene Cook, father-in-law Robert Hardie, sisters Edith Hardie and Shirley Bilyea, brother Billy Cook and brothers-in-law Harry Hughes, Harold Hardie and Jim Riddell. Friends may call at the C. Haskett and Son Funeral Home, 223 Main Street, Lucan on Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM where the funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 18th at 11 AM with Pastor Paul Vollick officiating. Interment St. Marys Cemetery, St. Marys. Donations to the Hardie Family Foundation for Prostate Cancer or the Granton-Wesley United Church would be appreciated by the family. A Masonic service will be held in the funeral home Tuesday evening at 6:30 PM under the auspices of Granton Lodge #483 AF and AM.
