Mildred Elaine (Geiger, McBride) Colquhoun passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of her family at Seaforth Community Hospital in her 80th year. Loving wife of the late Gordon Colquhoun (2004) and the late Keith McBride (1971). Beloved mother of Larry and Ann, Terry and Gail, Darlene and Anthony and Lori and Gilles. Loving grandmother of Melanie and Jon, Allen and Jen, Michael and Tori, Jeff and Corrie, Tammy, Cindy and Joseph, Chris and Rani, Heather and Tim, Jared, Celine and Jocelyne and great-grandmother of George, Elizabeth, Rachel, Alex, Patrick, Serena, Jorja, Dazarta, Manika and baby Rock. Survived by 2 half sisters Marilynne Malaga and Dayle and David Youngs and by her sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Irene and Gary Finlayson, Hugh and Wes McBride, Phylis and Earl Deichert and John and Mary McBride. Sadly missed by her nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Mildred and Leonard Bender and grandparents Josiah and Sarah (Smith) Geiger who raised her and 2 granddaughters Debra and Stephanie.
Visitation in the J. M. McBeath Funeral Home, 49 Goshen St. N, Zurich on Tuesday from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be conducted on Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at 11 a.m. Zurich Mennonite Church, Zurich, Ont Interment Bayfield Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of ones choice.
