Passed away at her home unexpectedly on Sunday, August 15, 2021 at the age of 73. Beloved wife of the late Ken Cook (2010). Dear sister and sister-in-law of Mary and Hugh McCaffery of Stratford, Fran and Bill Newman of Seaforth, Raymond and Lucy Cook, and Paul and Josie Cook all of Clinton. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Ron and Alma Thomas and her brother and sister-in-law Ken and Maureen Thomas.
Lois loved watching live theatre, travelling around to various plays and bus trips with her friend Jean. She could be found walking at the Seaforth arena, reading a book, or enjoying a puzzle or game of cards.
Keeping with Lois’ wishes, cremation has taken place. A graveside service for her family and friends will be held at Maitlandbank Cemetery, Seaforth on Friday, August 20th at 11 AM. Due to Provincial COVID-19 restrictions, each person must register to come to the service. Please click “Register Now” below, to register.
Donations to the Rotary Hospice Stratford-Perth or Huron Hospice would be appreciated by the family.
