At London Health Sciences Centre, Westminster Campus on Friday, August 20, 2004 Cornelia (Connie) (Heemskerk) Van Duyn formerly of Exeter in her 79th year, surrounded by her loving famiy, peacefully went to be with the Lord. Beloved wife of the late Nicholas C. (Nick) Van Duyn (2001). Dear mother of Ann and Bob Oke of Kirkton, Nelly and Ralph Roadhouse of London, Connie and Hans De Jong of Grand Bend, Joan and Ron Andersen of London and Marjorie and Wayne Khan of Oshawa. Dear grandmother of Sheila and Carrie; Jason and Jeremy; Matthew and Jonathan; Aliesha, Nick, Aaron and Katelyn; and Brandon and Samantha. Special great-grandmother to Emily, Erin and Ethan. Dear sister of Nellie Bakkenes of Holland. Friends may call at the Hopper Hockey Funeral Home, 370 William Street, 1 west of Main, Exeter on Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held at the Bethel Reformed Church, 200 Huron Street, E. Exeter on Monday, August 23rd at 11 AM with Pastor Dennis Royall officiating. Interment Exeter Cemetery. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
