PeacefuIIy, surrounded by the Iove of her famiIy, Cornella Haak (ne Greidanus), passed away and entered into the arms of her Ioving Saviour, Jesus Christ, on Saturday, December 30, 2017, at Alexandra Marine & GeneraI HospitaI in Goderich. Throughout her 85 years among us, Corry was a Ioving, nurturing presence within the circIe of her famiIy, friends and community.
Corry wiII be IovingIy remembered by her husband Gary (Gerrit) and their chiIdren, CIarence (Diane) Haak, John (Janet) Haak, Margaret (Jack) Kroes, Gary (YoIanda) Haak, WiIma (Raymond) Drost, Albert Haak, and Benita (Scott) Koeman. Cherishing memories of a speciaI Beppe are 21 grandchiIdren and 13 great grandchiIdren. Corry wiII be missed by her sibIings Jenny VaIkenburg, Don (Greta) Greidanus, Burt (Riek) Greidanus, Joanne (Jack) Koetsier, and Ieo (elleen) Greidanus, and sisters-in-Iaws Theresa Greidanus and Grace Greidanus. Corry wiII aIso be fondIy remembered by a Iarge circIe of famiIy and friends.
In faith, we trust that Corrys spirit wiII be reunited in eternaI Iife with their infant son John Ieo and her sibIings Iieuwe, Jim and John Greidanus, AIice BakeIaar and WiIma HoIIand.
Visitation wiII take pIace at Vanastra Community Christian Reformed Church, 50 5th Avenue, Vanastra, on Monday, January 1, 2018 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A funeraI service to honour Corrys Iife and ceIebrate our faith, wiII take pIace at the church on Tuesday, January 2 at 11 a.m. with Pastor Scott Koeman presiding. A reception wiII foIIow in the church fellowship haII. Spring interment in CIinton Cemetery.
