At Alexandra Marine and General Hospital, Goderich, Laurene M. (Broughton) Corriveau, of Goderich, formerly of Zurich, passed away on October 26, 2014, in her 95th year. Beloved wife of the late James “Nap” Corriveau (1985). Dear mother of sons Paul and Sue, Ron and June, John and friend Pat all of Goderich, Peter of Penticton and Doug of Calgary. Loving grandmother of 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Bill Broughton and sister-in-law of Mary Broughton. Predeceased by her parents James and Loletta (Coulter) Broughton, brother Jack Broughton and sisters Dorothy (Fergus) Lannin and Annie (Gerald) Primrose. Laurene was Administrative Assistant at the Bluewater Rest home for over 25 years.
Visitation in the J. M. McBeath Funeral Home, 49 Goshen St. N., Zurich on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where the funeral service will be conducted on Thursday, October 30, 2014 at 11 a.m. Rev. Pirie Mitchell officiating. Interment in Emmanuel United Cemetery, Zurich.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, Parkinson Society Southwestern Ontario, Alexandra Marine and General Hospital ICU or a charity of one’s choice.
