Peacefully, at LHSC – University Hospital on December 28th, 2019 William John Raymond (Ray) Corsaut of Ilderton, in his 83rd year. Beloved husband of Margaret (DeJong) for 50 years. Loving father of Adrienne and son-in-law Kennaway MacGregor. He is survived by his dear sister Sylvia (David) Wheeler, and sister-in-law Carol Corsaut. He is predeceased by brother Douglas (2008) and by his parents Robert (1963) and Minnie (Moss) Corsaut (1983). Sadly missed by sister and brother-in-law Anna (DeJong) and Phil Willer. Uncle Ray will be fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
Ray was a lifelong member of Birr United Church, serving in many positions over the years. He had a love of history, antique John Deere tractors and was an active member of the Tri-County Heritage Club and John Deere Two Cylinder Club. Ray farmed on the Twelfth Concession (London Township) and was proud that as of 2019, the Corsaut family has lived on the same road for 200 years.
Visitation will take place on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Haskett Funeral Home, 223 Main Street, LUCAN where the funeral service will be held on Friday, January 3rd at 11 AM with Rev. Keith Rameshwar officiating. Interment at Medway Cemetery.

Ray was a good friend. He was fellow Tri-County member, a past president and director of the club and a great supporter of the club. Ray always cared about other people. I appreciated his great knowledge of two-cylinder John Deere tractors.

My condolences to the Corsaut family You have lost a patriarch. May memories and accomplishments help, as you grieve his passing
I’ve known Ray since grade one at Birr Public School, and subsequently his brother and sister. Over the years I have met Ray, usually on or near a John Deere. It was always great to have a visit.
RIP Ray
