I remember Uncle Les with great fondness. He was very involved when my two younger siblings arrived. He gave me and Dad a lift to collect Mum and my little sister June from the cottage hospital! I remember liking the car ride but being very disappointed at how boring my baby sister appeared to be.
When my brother was born June and I had been taken on holiday to Anglesey with our grandparents and Les and Ann and baby cousin, It was a glorious time.
My mother was very fond of Les and proud of his achievements. Kind regards to all at a sad time.
