Peacefully at South Huron Hospital, Exeter on Thursday, October 2, 2014 of Grand Bend and formerly of London Twp in his 89th year. Beloved husband of Jean (Richardson) Dann for 68 years. Dear father of Dave and Doris Dann of Burks Falls, Dennis Dann, Carolyn Dann and Gary Dann all of Grand Bend. Dear grandfather of Christy and Rob and Andrea and Andrew. Also survived by 4 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by his son Ken (1996) and parents Melvin (1964) and Verna (Langford) Dann (1970).
A celebration of life will be held at the home of Jack and Irene Richardson, 982598 Elginfield Road (#7 Hwy.), St. Marys on Monday, October 6, 2014 from 2-5 and 7-9 PM with a short service of remembrance that will be held at 3 PM with Irene Richardson officiating.
The family would appreciate donations to CCAC (Community Care Access Centre) or the March of Dimes in lieu of flowers.

I was saddened to read of Ron’s passing. I remember him playing the piano at Country Manor while was the Activity Director there. I know he will be missed. Especially the Grand Benders.
