To the Davis Family,
Although I have only known Olga a few years, I grew to love her and her great enthusiasm for life. She always made a point of stopping in to the Hospital Foundation Office when she was here for her Auxiliary Meetings which were so important to her. When we asked her to introduce Peter Mansbridge at our Gala she was completely over the moon. And she absolutely stole the show at the Gala that year. She was a special woman and I will miss her very much. The world was a brighter place when she was in the room. RIP Olga.. xo

Dear Lillian, Phil and all of Olga’s extended family,
Sending best wishes to you all. I have very fond memories of Aunt Olga in her trailer in New Salem and am grateful for the kindness she a showed me as a young girl. Many happy hours were spent in in her flea market – buying old, beautiful things. I have often thought about the fact that she is one of the very few people that have told me how much they loved my mother. Cheerful and energetic – an inspiration on that front. One can only hope to have that kind of vim and vigour in old age. And, of course, generous with her time and energy too. The hand quilted bedcover she gave me always brings a smile because it includes fine silk fabric from a 1950s scarf and… tacky halloween cotton! So perfect. Thank you Aunt Olga.

Olga brought so much life and energy and giving to our hospital, and we are eternally grateful for the impact she has made. Just a few short weeks ago, Olga was fondly remembering life back East and doing a dance in our office, making us all smile. She leaves such a legacy at her local hospital and in the lives of so many she has touched. Olga–you were one in a million and you will be missed! // Jennifer Peckitt

To my Great Grandma Olga,
May you Rest In Eternal Peace with our Lord and Saviour ❤️
You are loved and will be greatly missed by so many! This was quite evident from the first time I met you and your family just shy of 5 years ago at your 90th birthday. The love that was present, all the beautiful words everyone had to say about you and the openness you had when meeting me and the acceptance you showed made me feel very welcomed! I know that your passing will leave a hole in many hearts as you will in mine but I take solace in knowing your devotion to God and that you are now with him in his kingdom of glory and will one day see you again!❤️

Our sympathy to the family. She was such an amazing lady. I remember her so well from line dancing. She was so happy and energetic. We will always remember her fantastic introduction of Peter Mansbridge at the Hospital Gala. She had a great sense of humour. The world is certainly better because she lived here.

Heaven will be that much cleaner for all that follow… I had the pleasure of working with Olga in the taters and stuff chip wagon. 1st lesson she taught me was that cleanseness is next to godlynes. May your whole family especially Phil Travis and Tracy find peace and comfort. My thoughts are with you.

Mark & Julie Heimrich
Lil, Philip, Darlene & Families;
We are so sorry to hear of your loss your Dear Mother and Grandmother. She was a wonderful neighbour, “babysitter” and lifelong friend of our family. I am so happy my parents, my extended family and I were able to share some milestone memories with her over the last few years. I personally enjoyed my visits with her at the Re-Store where she was still volunteering a couple days a week up to very recently! Anyone who was at the Hospital Gala a few years ago will NEVER forget the introduction she gave Peter Mansbridge! The feisty yet sweet , little 90lb, “comedian” had us all falling off our seats with laughter! Sharp as a tack up to my last chat with her only two weeks ago she still had a tremendous zest for life!
She will be sorely missed by all.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
RIP “Mrs. Davis”
Mark & Julie Heimrich & family.

To Lillian, Philip, Darlene and families:
This is quite a shock to learn of Olga’s passing. She was just at our Council meeting on Monday night.
We have known your family since they came to Ontario, Carl worked for my father in our store, You lived in the apartment behind/over our store. Have had salt cod dinners on Sanders St. Olga was a wonderful lady, was a great MC with Peter Mansbridge at Hospital gala. She took part in many committees in Exeter and South Huron.
She moved to Clinton to seniors’ home, but her Doctor told her to move out as they were too old for her.
Many memories of her. God Bless.

My condolences to all. Olga is going to be greatly missed by staff and volunteers at the ReStore. We could always look forward to her “Happy Dance” at the end of a good day. She always managed to put a smile on everyone’s face… including the customers! She always said “My sales are great cause they come in to see me!” And I am sure they did come to see her!
I always told her “I want to be just like you Olga when I grow up”… to which I would always get a huge hug! I will miss you sweetie… R.I.P! <3

Olga will be sadly missed at the Exeter Restore. We will never forget her “HAPPY DANCE ” at the end of her shift. I’m sure each of us learned at least one life lesson from her . She came to volunteer a few years ago and had never touched a till or debit machine, but she persevered, cursing it occasionally and mastered it well!
My sympathy to all her family
Rest in peace my friend ????
