The service today was a wonderful tribute in remembering the Bea we were fortunate to know. She and Murray were great neighbours and their door was always open. Bea was a mentor to many of us in our church and the community, with her leadership skills and ‘get it done’ attitude. Always lending a helping hand with a smile. There are lots of good memories when looking back on times spent with Bea.

My heartfelt condolences to the Dawson family. The Dawson and Alexander families were neighbours and friends for so many years. Beatrice always had a kind heart and would offer a helping hand at any time. I remember babysitting Larry and Brent – she always made sure there were lots of snacks. Mom always talked about the December celebration with the Dawsons, Alexanders, Canns, and Lamports – years after moving from the farm, the couples still got together every year. Beatrice will surely be missed by all who knew her. Hold her close in your heart and cherish the memories.
