It is with great sadness that our family announces the sudden passing of Debra (Debbie) Risio (nee Brooks) on Sunday February 11th; however, it comforts us to know that she left hand in hand with the Lord. Debbie was very happy as she had found her calling and spent the past several years selflessly dedicated to serving the Lord. She was a pillar of kindness to family and countless friends and her love will live on in the hearts of her beloved children Nadia Risio-Rowan and husband Marcus of Brampton, Jim Risio and wife Candice of Brampton, cherished grandchildren Quintin Rowan, Baby Rowan (due April 2nd) and Max Risio, husband Italo Risio, mother Mary Elizabeth Darlene Boal and husband Tom of Exeter, siblings Chuck Brooks of Exeter, Anna Seinen-McCarville and husband Joe of Fort McMurray, AB, nephew Bennett Critchley and niece Ellie Critchley. Predeceased by her father John Alan Brooks and brother James Brooks.
A celebration of Debbie’s life will be held at Exeter Pentecostal Tabernacle (70670 London Rd, Exeter, ON N0M 1S1) on Sunday February 25th at 3:00pm with luncheon to follow.
As an expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
