I have been fortunate to enjoy many conversations with Del while he was a resident at Huron Residential Hospice. Del always had a smile and a kind word for everyone. He loved nature and he loved people. I will miss chatting with him tomorrow when I arrive for my volunteer shift at the residence. He was a good hearted man.
Melissa Steinbach
I got to know Del during his time at Huron Hospice. He was a great fella with a great sense of humour. He quickly became a part of our family. Sympathies to all of his family. I hope Del and Jim are now reunited.
Michael and Rita Altman
Our thoughts and prayers are with the family at this difficult time. We remember fondly the many weekends we spent with Delford, Norma, Adam, Tanya, Christina and Delford’s mother Rose. Whether visiting at their home in Seaforth, visiting Bayfield and spending time at the beach, or other activities, they were special times.
