Dear “Dettmer” Cousins,
Since hearing the news about Steve I have been reminiscing fondly of our times spent together, especially those wonderful times we had as children. The car rallies, impromptu visits and the Dettmer “goodbye” have come to mind.
A man named Marcel Proust once wrote “memories nourish the heart, and grief abates.” I hope this will be true for all of you – Joan, Peter, Jane, Sam and Dave.
Love, Christine & George
