Unexpectedly at LHSC-University Hospital, on Saturday, June 30, 2018 in his 74th year. Beloved partner of Diana Brisebois. Loving father of Derrick Dewan of St. Thomas, and Erin and Chris Georgieff of California. Cherished grandpa of Hayden and Raelyn Georgieff. Fondly remembered by Manon, Stephen, and Andrea Riddle. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Tom and Sandra Dewan, Jo-Anne and Drew MacGregor all of Lucan Biddulph. Leo will be missed by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Predeceased by Jim and Mary (Harrigan) Dewan and infant daughter Mary Catherine (1968). Leo was a lover of all sports but known for being an exceptional golfer. He was a hard working man, right up to the morning of his passing. He always made time for his family. Among his passions, was dancing to the oldies while spending time at his winter home in Florida. His kind and generous nature will always be remembered by those who knew him.
Friends may call at the Haskett Funeral Home, 223 Main St., Lucan on Friday, July 6th from 11 AM until the time of the Celebration of Life at 1 PM. Cremation has taken place.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Heart and Stroke Foundation, Hardie Family Foundation, St. Joseph Hospice, Mike Weir Foundation, or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.

My heart broke at the news of Leo’s passing. I’ve known him, through the construction field, since I was a young girl. Leo was always kind in spirit and words. His gentle manner was loved by everyone. I’ve never heard him speak harshly. I will miss him very much. I’m sure he’s now playing the best golf game ever! Bye for now my friend. Love, Sophia (Norlon Builders)
