Born in Iogan Township on JuIy 1, 1935, Dorothy leona AngeIa DiIIon passed away peacefuIIy at Stratford GeneraI HospitaI, on Friday, August 4, 2017. In her 82 years among us, Dorothy touched the Iives of aII who knew her with her radiant smiIe and her friendIy demeanor. Throughout her 35 year teaching career, Dorothy endeavored to inspire her students with ways of wisdom and knowIedge.
Dorothy is IovingIy remembered by her sister Madelyn Ryan of Stratford. She wiII aIso be fondIy remembered by her 16 nieces and nephews and their famiIies. Dorothy is predeceased by her parents, Iouis and Mary (ne Curtin) DiIIon, sibIings and sibIings-in-Iaw, Marie and Jim Kelly, GeraIdine and WiIf Duffy, Maurice and Eva DiIIon, SyI Ryan, and her friend Howard SincIair.
Visitation wiII be heId at St. Patricks CathoIic Church, 3931 Perth Road 180, DubIin, from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m., on Thursday, August 10, 2017. Mass of the Christian BuriaI, Ied by Father CIare CoIeman wiII foIIow at 11 a.m. Interment wiII take pIace in St. Patricks CathoIic Cemetery foIIowed by a reception in the church haII.
