Dear Janet, Jane, Tyler, Kate and families,
We were sorry to read of John&&single&&s passing in the London Free Press. Krista and I both worked for him and Marian cleaning and doing odd jobs around the house when we were teenagers. He was great to work for. I still remember the time he asked me to thin the carrots in the garden and I went a little bit too far. He didn&&single&&t get mad though. He just laughed it off. When Dennis and I got married he let us use his old cars to ride in from the church to the Van Egmond House for pictures. If I remember correctly he also let me borrow his car to try for my license up in Clinton. He and Dad were in the Lion&&single&&s Club together. Dad thought a lot of John. These are the things I remember. Hope they help.

I was a practicing veterinarian in Stratford from 1958 to 84. I have many fond memories of John – but I am sure we called him Jack. Over the years with his graduation year being in synch with mine but 15 years earlier, we would meet at Class anniversary celebrations.
I had great respect for his professional ability and his humour.
I will contribute to a Community Foundation Endowment in his memory.
He is a big part of of my practice memory.
