Suddenly, at home on Wednesday, December 13, 2017 of Exeter in his 39th year.  Dear husband of Norma Culbert for over 15 years.  Proud dad of Mackenzie and Michael at home.  Dear son of Darlene and John Leybourne of Paisley, and grandson of Phyllis and Chuck Collett of Crediton.  Loved son-in-law of Ron and Debbie Culbert of London.  Dear brother and brother-in-law of Justin and Jami Ducharme of London, Tara Jesney and Caroline Sullivan of Clinton; Laura Culbert of London, and Sarah Culbert of Exeter.  Fondly remembered by Marion Culbert, best friend Steve and Amy Mason and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. 

Friends may call at the Haskett Funeral Home, 370 William Street, Exeter (1 street west of Main) on Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 PM where the funeral service will be held on Monday, December 18th at 11 AM with Rev. Darrell Shaule officiating. Cremation with interment Crediton Cemetery.

Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Diabetes Canada, South Huron Minor Hockey, Trust Fund for MacKenzie and Michael or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.

    Wishing my wife darlene leybourne her mom phyllis her dad chuck sister vicki daughter in law norma and both boys mikey and mackenzie my deepest and sincere condolences in this time of sorrow…John wayne was a excellent father to his boys a great friend to everyone who had the chance to meet him..and an awesome son…i may not have known him his entire life but i have known him for over 17 years and ive been with him though thick and thin..we always had fun working on whichever classic car i had at the time or riding an atv with no helmit and getting in trouble like i did….John wayne u were taking from us way too soon and u will always have a spot in everyones heart.. keep the cars purring up there jw and i will see u in the future

    I was shocked to here John Wayne had passed away! I’m glad I was able to see him this summer. We were still able to joke about him wanting to kick the Mustang, though he did not, because I had ticked him off for some reason or another.
