Our deepest sympathy to everyone in Bob and Jacquie’s famlies. The many years Jacquie worked for Harold and the many little things Bob did for us over that time will not soon be forgotten. Bob was indeed a kind and gentle man, who gave help wherever it was needed without any question. We will always treasure many good memories of two lives well lived. I’m only sorry it’s not possible for us to attend either today’s visitation or tomorrow’s funeral service, due to prior commitments. Sincerely, Dr. Harold & Susan Merskey.

To the Duncan & McCullough Family,
We are thinking of you all during this difficult time. Bob & Jacquie were wonderful neighbours to have. Our daughter Janessa loved to run across the back yard and go sit on Bobby’s John Deere tractors and play with the ducks that sat on the back deck. We always knew where to find her. She was the only one who could call him ‘Bobby’. Bob was always willing to lend a hand to anyone. We always enjoyed our visits with them.

Thanks to Bob for all the good things he did in this world.
And he made our trailer too, built to last 100 years. Bob was old school. And I like old school.

To Bob and Jacquies families we extend our deepest condolences. Bob was a gentle soul who always had a smile and story to tell. He loved collecting old things and if a person needed something unique, he was the go to guy. He will be missed in Birr and the surrounding area with his skills to fix items ….and he had the shop to fix just about anything. He has been reunited with Jacquie who he missed so very much….may they be dancing up a storm together ! RIP Bob

Bob Duncan was an important part of Birr and he will be missed very much. You couldn’t ask for better neighbours than Bob and Jacquie. They were kind, considerate and you were never just Bob’s neighbour, you were a friend. Our whole family has missed Bob since he left Birr and we will continue to feel his absence for a long time. Our only consolation is believing that he is reunited with his beloved Jacquie, whom he never stopped missing. I’m sure that if anything needs fixing in Heaven the right man for the job is there now!! God bless you Bob and may you rest in peace.
Colleen
Rest in peace Bob im very honored to have been given the opportunity to meet and help care for such a very sweet man.

My condolences to all him knew this humble man, especially to his immediate family. Bob didn’t ask for much in life. He treasured those things that others saw as broken and old-fashioned, and when he could make something new again I loved seeing him smile. Yes, Bob drank the same brand of beer, sat in the same seat at Lions meetings, and clung to the belief that when you make a commitment, you follow through. It was a privilege to know and be inspired by his simple ways. I will treasure the trailer he built for me by hand almost 15 years ago and I will store in my heart the gift of his friendship.

Rest in peace Uncle Bob.
