As we are unable to attend visitation today, I did want to extend our condolences to the Durand Family.
I have many good memories of doing business with Phil when I owned the garage in Zurich. I always admired him for his determination and vision for business etc. A man ahead of his time.

My family offers our condolences!
Growing up on the Bluewater had it’s advantages.
Everyone knew each other for miles and were always there whenever there was a need.
I lost my dad when I was only three which affected our family.
Luckily I had a great Mom and later a wonderful Stepfather.
However, in my younger years I had two Mentors who I looked up to and who helped me mature as a young boy.
They were my Uncle Charlie Rau and Phil Durand.
They did so much in the Community which I feel has left a lasting Legacy.
Phil was a wonderful father image and his family were and still are wonderful friends.
May God bless Phil and his family.

To the families of Phil Durand, You have our deepest sympathy. Although we didn’t know Phil that well, I had brief conversations with him about the old days on the Blue Water. He remembered my dad. The biggest tribute to him is the Character he instilled in his Children. All of them a success because of the values of Phil and Marie. Chuck and Jackie Papineau

Dave and Family Just a note to offer our sincere sympathy. I remember well when your dad would load up your brother Ken and Rick Jeffrey and myself in the back of an old ford pick up truck maybe 58 or newer but not much and off to hockey we would go. Sometimes Zurich and sometimes Hensall and we were always treated to a pop and bag of chips. Thanks Phil! Leo and Lindsey
