At her late residence on Friday, April 20, 2007 Edna M. (Arthur) Simmons of Exeter in her 88th year. Beloved wife of the late Fredrick George Simmons (1973). Dear mother of Carolynne Wood and Jim Van Wyck of Owen Sound, Fred Simmons and his friend Tammy Gunn of Exeter and Kathy and Brad Pryde of Port Elgin. Dear grandmother of David and Slavica, Colette; and Adam, Jane and Ann, great-grandmother of Christin and Paul and great-great-grandmother of Val. Dear sister of Humphrey and Ruth Arthur of St. Marys. Predeceased by a sister Marion and brothers Graham, Jack, Grant and Clifford. Friends may call at the Haskett Funeral Home, 370 William Street, 1 west of Main, Exeter on Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM where the funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 25th at 11 AM with Rev. Lillian Wilton officiating. Interment Exeter Cemetery. Donations to the Presbyterian Church Women’s Missionary Society, Children’s Aid Society or P.R.A.N.C.E.-Therapeutic Riding Association, Port Elgin would be appreciated by the family.
