Has gone home today, November 5, 2018 in her 93rd year at the Maitland Manor, Goderich. Doris is formerly of Exeter, Huron Park, Walkerton, and Crediton, Ontario. Beloved wife of the late Jim Edwards. Dear mother of Diane Edwards Anger and Chris Anger of Ripley, and Pat and Perry Luce of Hanover. Dear grandmother of Daniel and Lisa Jones, Christine Jones and Max Johnson, Jennifer Jones and Paul Maher, Jaime Ann and Jake Chilton; Ryan and Alexis Luce, and Ian and Jessica Luce. Great grandmother of Bryce and Drew Jones, Austin and Hudson Thomas, Madison and Cole Chilton, Cheyenne, Olivia, Ashton, and Hudson Luce. Predeceased by her parents Sam and E. Jean (Baird) Sims, a brother Alvin Sims, and a sister Betty Laye.
Visitation will be held at the Haskett Funeral Home, 370 William Street, EXETER on Thursday evening from 7-9 PM, and one hour prior to the funeral service which will be held on Friday, November 9th at 11 AM. Interment Crediton Cemetery.
If desired, memorial donations to Diabetes Canada would be appreciated by the family.

I’m so sorry for your loss. I lived across the hall from Doris and enjoyed the lively conversations we had. I moved into the building on her birthday, so it has always stuck in my mind. I have missed her presence in the building, glad she is at peace with our Lord.
